MEETINGS BEGIN AT 9:30 AM
January 20, 2014 – Somatics
With Karen Fotopoulos, RYT-200: Join Karen and learn how to relax, revitalize and renew; experience awareness, balance and wellness. When muscles become chronically contracted from misuse, physical or emotional stress, injury and trauma, the body becomes imbalanced. Years of adjusting to these changes can lead to pain in the neck, back, hips, knees and shoulders. These problems are not due to structural weaknesses in the body but to sensory-motor amnesia. Somatic movement may be able to correct these imbalances. I look forward to seeing you.
