About 300 Hour Program
Himalayan Center's TTP 300 is a Yoga Alliance registered teacher training program offered to yoga teachers who have completed the TTP 200 teacher training program with HYMC. For teachers who completed their TTP 200 program at another school, a bridge option is available where such students can complete specific classes in HYMC's TTP 200 program to register for TTP 300 with HYMC. The TTP 300 program is completed over a three year period.
HYMC's TTP 300 program is based on the advanced practices and philosophy of Himalayan masters as taught by Swami Rama and Swami Veda Bharati. The instruction imparted during the program includes:

Yoga philosophies (Samkhya, Yoga, Vedanta, Tantra, and Shaivite philosophies)

Pranayama practices and their subtle aspects

Yogic (cleansing) Kriyas and their subtle aspects.
- Mudras, Bandhas and their energies

Subtleties of working with Yoga Asanas
- Yoga anatomy and physiology and it's application to teaching asanas

Intermediate and advanced meditation
Our TTP 300 program includes mentoring for personal growth both as a teacher and at a personal level.
The program consists of seminars/workshops, weekend retreats (in Chicagoland area), teaching practicums with guidance, and personal work. Graduation requirements include tests and a board review.
Our teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields including individuals with advanced degrees. We feature seminars/workshops with traveling teachers who are world reknowned in the areas they teach.
New students can register to start in March or October of each year.
After completion, this program will qualify a student for Yoga Alliance’s RYT 300 teacher registration.
